Football Jersey Restocking Guide for Resellers
Reorder the combinations that your customers actually buy. A popular club name alone does not tell you which season, version or size needs another allocation.
Read sales by product combination
Track the team, season, Home or Away style, version and size for each sale. Keep long sleeves, kids sets and retro styles distinct. Separate completed sales from unconfirmed requests, returns and cancelled orders so that an enquiry spike does not become an unsupported reorder.
Compare demand with remaining stock
Count sellable units and note quantities already reserved for customers. Also record confirmed incoming quantities. Compare these with recent completed sales over a consistent period that suits your business. A sold-out size may deserve attention even when the team total still looks healthy.
| Combination | Completed sales | Sellable units left | Next check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Selected Home style / Fan / M | 6 | 1 | Check demand and incoming units |
| Same style / Fan / XL | 1 | 5 | Review before allocating more |
| Same team / Player / L | 3 | 0 | Keep this version separate |
Choose the reorder quantity deliberately
Use your records, sellable stock, confirmed incoming units and the period you need to cover. Allow for preparation and transit estimates confirmed in the shipment quotation. No formula here guarantees demand: revise the allocation when the season, customer mix or product requirements change. Avoid adding a full size run simply because one size is selling.
Recheck the exact reference
A repeat order should identify the previous order reference and the current product link or photo. Confirm that the same design, fit, size measurements and printing can be supplied. Do not substitute a newer season or a different version silently. If the earlier selection is unavailable, request a clearly identified alternative before adjusting the list.
Keep proven demand separate from new tests
A restock and a new-style test can be requested in one supported mixed batch, but keep their lines separate. Use a deliberate initial allocation for untested styles rather than assuming they will sell. Review the result before expanding the next repeat order.
